That's awesome.  And I thought God put me in this job because they are so great, both financially and in the human matters.  They are so supportive of my dr. appts and surgery time, even though I won't have much actual sick/vacation time to take.  God is such a blessing.  Today is my Birthday and I just got a huge unexpected christmas bonus today!!!!!  The owner of my company is a very wonderful christain man.  He even took me into his office to let me know of other options for surgery.  How wonderful is that?  God is so good to me.  God bless you as well, if not better! You sound like you work for a great company.  Having the support of your boss helps a lot.  And I agree, God is great!  Are you considering the RNY, Gastric Sleeve, or Lap Band surgery?  I believe that Dr. Gluck does all of those.  -Muskegon71

I'm going for his favorite, RNY.  I can't wait for my next appointment.  Although the GI is coming next and that is yucky, but worth it. Amanda Jo

The RNY is a great surgery.  The GI is not fun, but it actually went very quickly and was over before I knew it. I have a blog that I started that might give you an idea of things to come.  I just started it so there is not a whole lot of info. yet, but I plan to add to it regularly.  Check it out if you would like.  The link is below. -muskegon71

Oh yeah absolutely.  I think it was like .1%.  And he's only every had 1 patient die and that was from a blood clot to the lungs.  They emphasise walking, starting 2 hours after you get to your room to prevent that.  He is an awesome surgeon.  He is the one that teaches other people how to do it, so I am in good hands.

ohhh only one death.... Wow... interesting. But a blood clot would be considered related to surgery.  What about leak's.... any of those....

He's only had 1 leak of ALL his patients!  I can't remember how many he's done, at least 1200 but I think maybe more.  He's been doing it for 5 years.
