They are a center of excellence and have many doctors that also have offices in Novi (for some visits).
They do accept one of the above (medicare/medicaid) but not sure which. Just look them up online and go for it.
I would suggest Dr. Katz or Cole.

Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan.
I wanted to point out to those who are interested in having their surgery done at Hurley Medical Center in Flint Mi. Even though Hurley Medical Center accecpts medicaid for the surgery, They REQUIRE you to see a specific Psychologist For your MMPI who DOES NOT accept medicaid.
This is a new policy this year and they will not allow any outside psychologists input.
Furthermore if you are required to attend any psychological sessions you also MUST see a specific individual for these sessions (there is only one they allow) who also DOES NOT accept Medicaid.
This is a new policy for Hurley starting this year 2010.
Your sessions (they told me because of a medication i took for a sleep disorder, required me to participate in 26 sessions (14 before surgery, 12 after). I am waiting to hear back how much the psychologist charges per session, but on average if its 250.00 a session, this would run you upwards of $6500 and will set your surgery back by at least 5 months to a year depending on who is interpreting their policy.
It is needless to say, that i am deeply disappointed as i had already been cleared by 2 therapists, one psychologist (whom i have seen for 3 years), and 2 Md's. and had this policy change on me half way through. I do not know what i will do now.
I am currently working with them because they do accept straight medicaid but they told me that the first step would be talking to a physcholoist to be cleared before going any further so I guess I am working on that now... maybe i should be calling them about any shrink they accept before I start paying someone to do the test on me lol.
thank you again
