Feeling defeated after 3 mo. app't
I'm almost a year and a half out and I eat soup. I put crackers (no fat, whole grain) in it to thicken it up and it stays with me from noon until 6 or so when I have dinner. The NUTs don't want you to rely on protein drinks or soup but you can have them now and then with no problem. I pretty much eat what I want but I do follow most of the rules (especially not drinking 15 minutes before an 45 minutes after). I stick to around 1200 calories or less (lately it's been a lot less) and I've lost almost 150 pounds. Take things one day at a time and keeping a food diary will help you know how much you've had and what you can add to your diet.

Thank you...it's nice to get the reassurance!! I was a little startled--especially after getting the "go ahead" to try anything at 6 weeks and then get more restrictions at 3 mo. I wasn't prepared for that!! I just need to remember to take it one day at a time and to learn what will work for me.
