psych evals covered with straight medicaid?

Hi everyone. Does anyone know who takes straight medicaid for a psych eval. I am looking in Oakland or Wayne counties. I am consulting with Dr. Wood and Taylor in Warren. Medicaid requires a psych eval but I am having a hard time finding someone who accepts it. I was strongly adv by the surgeons office to see about using insurance before attempting to pay out of pocket. Not exactly sure why. Any info would be great.
Dr. Woods was my surgeon and I am on Medicade and I had to pay $50.00 for my physch eval. Not awfully painful.
