Ahnene Neighbours!

I'm from Ontario, but had my surgery at Barix, so I thought I would say hello to my friendly neighbours in MI. I'm heading back to Barix for my 3 month appointment the first week of December and will be staying a few days as I'm also bringing another Canuck down for her surgery! I have to say that I like Michigan.  It's a nice state and I always enjoy my time in Ann Arbor.  However, I'd like to get to know a bit more of the area that's within driving distance of Ann Arbor.  Say, no more than an hour away. Anyone have any sites or places that are good to check out?  Any museums that are a must see?

My appointment is on the 6th, but I'll be there late on the 2nd and staying until the 7th or 8th, as my friend is having surgery that week and I'm staying with her. Thanks for the links!

Mallory, Don't miss Greenfield Village, it's in Dearborn. It might even be decked out for the holidays by the 1st.  Toronto is such a BIG place. We've been there many times, we have relatives in the area (Downsview). In fact, we are suppose to go there this weekend.

Thanks Kate.  I'll see if we can get to that. Toronto is huge.  I used to live in Downsview, right across from the subway station, until the house I was renting in, got sold for condos.  LOL  I work up in that area too, but live downtown now.
