Hi I just joined the group. I am just trying to learn my way around here. I live in Milford MI does anyone know of a support group meeting in this area? thanks.

The only one I know of is in Howell, I have not been there but it is the one that is closest to me too. I am in Linden/Argentine area. What surgery are you looking into and where at, the hospital or clinic that you go through should be able to give you a list or a web site for support groups. I am still in the approval stage and am going through Hurley in Flint, because my pcp is the medical directer and of course wants me to go there. Good Luck - Patti

Thanks for all the welcomes. Patti i am having th Roux n y. At Harper Hospital in Detroit. Michael Wood of ABMI is my Dr. I hope to have surgery early next year. I have jumped through most of the hoops.

I dont drive right now so it is tough to get to Warren where the support group is. Thanks for your response. Good luck to you too. Lynne
