Just purchased....

The book "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" got it on E-bay for $11.50 hope that was a steal?  LOL Anyway I've had more than 3 peeps suggest to me too purchase this book........so I did!!    Should receive it by the weekend.....WOOHOO ~Molly~

I like the book.  I bought mine on Amazon and I think it was 13.00, and I got free shipping because I bought another book with it.

It has lots of info in it, though not as much as available here!  I have read through it a few times, already. There are some great recipes in it.  There is no info on the VSG, though, I think it is a couple of years old. Martha

I am sooooooo upset!!!   The lady I purchased it from, just wrote me a email through e-bay stating, she was sorry but it was a oversight on her inventory and won't be shipping the book .  However I got a complete refund?! I can't believe it........I was so excited to get this and read it this weekend, I am so bummed now ~Molly~

I bought mine at Amazon too.  The absolute best resource I've purchased for WLS.  I bought it at the beginning of my research phase, so it really helped me work through all the questions I needed to ask and fully understand which surgery was best for me. Yes, there is more detailed information here and other places on the web -- but I liked that the book had everything all together in one place and I knew it was written by reputable doctors and experts.  (Sometimes web-based informaion can be questionable.) Sorry to hear the ebay deal fell through.  Try Amazon, it's always worked great for me. Pam
