Need some advice

I'm starting to come down with a sore throat and cold like symptoms. Is there anything we can take? I am about 5 months out after RNY.  Thanks for any advice you can give!

hey beth, i am 5 months out too.  i just got over a head cold.  here is the okay list: colds: benadryl dimetapp robitussin safetussine sudafed triaminic tylenol cold products be careful of cough syrups, for sugar content.  i take pills, not capsules. hoping you feel better soon. Belinda

I used ZICAM nasal gel the last time I felt a cold coming on. I was surprised that it really did stop the cold.

I use they tylenol(generic) products, they are safe, I always break them in half to help digest, also take the vitamin water packets at walmart, in an orange box i believe, take one or 2 a day if i start feeling yucky. take care, teri
