I have a date

January 11th Its finally happening. I never thought I would get a date. Amazing now that I know when its happening I feel more nervous about it.

CONGRATULATIONS!! I just got my surgey date also. November 19th. I have my PAT's next Tuesday. I know what you mean about being more nervous. Looks like Tom Turkey is out  of the question for me this year.  I guess I could always puree it until it completely liquified. Mmmm on second thought YUCK.  Good luck on your upcoming surgery Michele

Hey another Jan. gal...my date is Jan. 16th. Wow, I waited for sooo long to get a date, I can't believe I finally got one. Scary, excited, nervous, disbelief, and Happy...all at the same time. I think most of us go through this....its the unknown that scares me. We have to trust our surgeons and most of all our faith. Keep in touch, Colleen

Congrats on your date!  I'd highly recommend GTS and any of the docs associated with them.  Dr Nizzi did my surgery and although it's not been without a few problems, I don't regret it. Did you know the GTS support group meetings are available at Alpena Regional Medical Center (AGH)?  You just need to contact the folks in the community ed dept to make sure they have someone there to log you on via sattelite or whatever. I'm over here close to Posen but work in Alpena.  Give me a hollar if ever I can do anything for you! Pam
