Ulcer or Stricture

I am almost 3 months post-op. I thought I was finally over the hump (I was dehydrated at 2 weeks, ulcer at 4 weeks and kidney stones at 6 weeks)...well the last couple of days I have been having trouble eating. I am so done eating after two bites--no matter what I eat (soft or solids). I get nauseas and gag or I will have to throw up.

This feels different from my previous ulcer. Could it be a stricture?? I called the surgeon and have an appointment on Thursday for another endoscopy. But I wanted to know if anyone has experienced this?? And if so--what did you do for nutrients???

I'm sorry that I don't have any advice about strictures. I think it's a good thing that you are seeing your surgeon soon. I'm also sorry that you have gone through all of this. Try and keep your chin up and hopefully they will figure out what is wrong. Jenn

I;m thinking it's a stricture. I do find solice that my surgeon will be doing the endoscopy--just makes me feel more relaxed. Hopefully it will be an easy "fix" and I can start to feel normal again soon! Thanks for the support. BTW--I love your new picture!

Boy oh Boy, you have really been down the road of some bad luck. I am so sorry you are going through this much. I sure hope you get some good news on Thurs. Stay positive, its gotta get better. colleen
