Mini Trip!!

Bright and early tomorrow morning we are heading to Flint Bishop airport to depart for Florida.  My brother is gettting married on the beach on Saturday.  This will be my FIRST FLIGHT since surgery!!  I am so excited that I will NOT have to ask for an extender!!!  I am also excited to see all those that I know in Florida that have not seen me since Christmas or in years for that matter.   On another note...a few weekends ago I ran into two people that I used to work with about 7 years ago.  NEITHER knew who I was.  They recognized me, but could not place me.  Had to show my old drivers license to one of them and when it came back to her who I was, her jaw hit the floor!  What a wow moment!! Isn't it a great feeling to have someone not recognize you.  I had one of those wow moment last week.   We have a new group leader (from outside the system) who was telling one of her friends who was my student many, many years ago that she worked with an 'older woman" ( we won't discuss that issue) named Jeanne.  In describing me she said that she told him I was about her size and that he must remember me, since I've been there forever.  He said no he didn't remember me.  When she remembered to tell him that I had been heavier he said "Oh I remember her.  I have to see her" Jeanne
