do you know how much your surgery cost!!!!

hello everyone just wondering does anyone know how much their surgery cost and who did the surgery.
something to think about with co-pays standing there.

The hospital bill was twelve thousand-something.  I had 10% coinsurance, so I used my reimbursement account to pay the $1200-something. 

I got a bill in the mail of over $18,000.  I'm guessing this was sent to me by mistake, and waiting for another bill for lower.  So far, worth every penny...

My Lap-band surgery was $11,000. My insurance would not pay because it was an exclusion. (at least I got airline miles!!!)

I have no idea how much my surgery cost.  I paid $60 out of pocket for my psych eval (3x my copay) and $20 for my pre-admission testing.  That was it.  I never received any paperwork from my insurance company showing the cost or how much was billed....nothing. So, I still have no idea how much it cost. 

Hi Hate to tell you how much mine was. Just the surgery, none of the pre-op appointments and tests, $38,410.72.  This was radiology, hospital, anesthesia, and the surgeon.   Lynn

I know they charged and I know what was paid. My surgeon should have gotten way more than they paid. He deserves combat pay after dealing with me. My only complaint was about the Tylenol suppository they gave me for my headache...... the nurse missed the "Place" but the hospital still charged $22.00 bucks for it. kp

We got a copy of what was sent to the insurance, and from the time I got there, til the time I left (including everything) was over $25,000. We'll see what the insurance does now though lol

A little over 24,000.   LAP RNY  Traverse City But that does not count the pre surgical testing / anesthia / labs/ or the bill from the Doctor for preforming the surgery. I would bet about 33 to 35 thousand all said and done.
