HAS ANYONE USED DR FOOTE FROM GRAND RAPIDS MICH ????????????

Has anyone used Dr Foote from grand rapids mich?????? If so how about a report from you on how you liked him  Thanks  Deb 

I am scheduled for a gast sleeve on Nov. 6 and Dr. Foote is my doc.  I planning on it being a good experience.  I keep hearing that all the docs at MMPC are great and that is the best place in the state to go.   I guess the education and support etc from there is better than other places.  I know for sure it is better than the closest one to me.  (I am in the center of the state)  When is your surgery?

no date as of yet...Go to see PA for history and phyical oct 31st, then Nov 6th get phyic eval, if I pass lol I see the doctor on the 12th

Hey Deb!! I'm actually a new lapbander, but have been doing this whole MMPC thing for about 4 months now. Just to let you know, the PA's at the office are wonderful. They are so great, and really understanding. The front desk is a little rude and hard to deal with at times, but it's their job!!  I actually had Dr. Keemeter, I think I spelled that wrong. He's wonderful. But, Dr. Foote is in the same office as well. In my support group, 6 out of 13 people had Dr. Foote. He's highly respected and very nice.  You'll love any of the doctors at MMPC.. Dr. Foote did my RNY June 2006.  I just love him.  He makes sure you know what you're getting into.  He actually answered all my questions in our talk without me even having to ask them.  I think there's quite a few people on this board that have also had Dr. Foote. 

Dr Foote did my sleeve on 10-12-07.  He is awesome.  I would highly reccomend him.  I also came from the center of the state and chose to drive instead of going to the local doctors.  Guess thats why MMPC is a center of excellece.  For the excellent care they provide. MJ

Deb, Dr. Foote did my surgery April 2005 and he is absolutely wonderful. There has only been one person that I met that didn't like him.  Hope everything goes well for you. He is the best. Thanks, Lynn

Hi Deb, I had Dr. Foote- he did my lap RNY on May 4, 2007 -  this Sunday will be 6 months and I am down 104 pounds:) I really like him allot. He has such a sweet Spirit and he is Christian and that meant so much to me. I also think he is so gentle and kind-I would reccomend him to anyone. I pray everything goes well for you! I used MMPC but Dr. Kemmeter did my lap band, however Dr Foote did the orientation I attended. I have had nothing but great experiences with anyone I've come in contact with at the office, including the front desk people. I would agree that they seem to supply you with the best information and education. That's based on all the questions I see on the lap band forum where most people are left to figure things out on their own. That's not true with MMPC...they've got it all figured out for you. i highly recommend  MMPC.

Dr. Foote did my lap RNY  3 1/2 years ago; I'm down 180 pounds more or less (haven't weighed myself lately because my scale is kind of crappy). He's wonderful. I'll agree with the other assessment that the PAs are very good and professional; the nutrionists are nice and know their stuff too; front office staff could use some manners and the insurance folks don't always return their calls. But the docs and the other professionals are very good. I was very pleased with my experience for the most part. I am down from nearly a size 4X to a size medium pant and top since June 2004.  Good luck to you!
