How Long

Last week my info was sent to the ins. co for approval.  (bcbsm)  How long should I expect to wait for a response?  Should I call, I know its probably to soon.  I can't stop thinking about it. Kim

Kim, What do you have to lose by calling?  Give them a call and ask if they recieved all information and ask when you can expect a reply.  They should be able to give you a response and let you know when to expect a decision.   Good luck, you're in one of the worst waiting games you'll deal with! --Sax

I called my Ins. Co. after I was told by my surgeons office it would be about two or three weeks. The second week I called them and they told me I should have an answer on Fri. I called Fri. and they told me to call Mon. I called today and they said I was approved (yippee after the second try) and I should get something in the mail in day or two. So to answer your question,,,,,,,,,yes call them, they can give you some idea without you going crazy. The best to you, Colleen

I logged into my insurance company's website's message center  and found out I was approved. Barix sent it in n Oct.4 and I was approved on Oct 9. Good luck hope you are approved
