OT: Baby Shower

Hello Everyone, I have a baby shower coming up next month in Michigan. Because I'm in Ontario, getting something for the mom to be from the registry is a no go and since I have to clear customs wrapping something up isn't going to work either. So if I give a gift of money what is the going rate for baby showers in Michigan? Thanks Dawn

Dawn, When I go to showers and am giving a gift from just me, I usually give a gift card for $25.

Yeah I say a gift card to where they are registered would work- 25 bucks seems fair.

Depending on where they are registered, you can order a gift online and have it wrapped and shipped directly to the recipient.  That way there is no customs hassle and you don't have to carry ot with you.
