SCHEDULING SURGERY

 I just received approval for the surgery and now I am just waiting for scheduling to call with a date. My question is: Can I request my surgery to be done on  a Friday? My family lives in Ohio and it would be easier for them to be there if  I could have  the surgery on a Friday. Dr. Kam at Barix in Ypsilanti will be doing  my surgery. 

Yes, they will work with you!!!!!   I love Barix, they realize that we have lives outside of surgery dates, and want us to be comfortable all the way around, hee.  I'm having Surgery in Ypsi too on Nov 19~will you be there?????  Hugs, Terri

Hi guys! My name is Lindsey, and I actually work at Barix in Ypsi, in the Admitting department. And while our surgery dates can change from time to time, Dr. Kam rarely, if ever, operates on Fridays. Those are usually his days in the Clinic doing new Consults. But because he is leaving us , I beleive he's doing post ops on Fridays now.  Have a great day!!!  Lindsey
