Tried Yoga
So I went through with my plan and did a yoga class (actually 2) this weekend. they kicked my booty, that's for sure! i don't know how it's possible to work up such a sweat just holding poses, but boy, did i! i was glad i went. they were haaaaard (i'm 3 months out and at 290 lbs, so i'm no skinny string bean by any means). i felt good when i was done and i can see that sticking with it will do alot to improve my flexibiity and core strength... its just a question of whether i can drag my sore butt muscles back there this week... a lot of the yoga places around me offer a free first week, so if you have any interest at all in trying yoga, i suggest you go for it.
Yoga is my next hurdle to take on. I have read alot with how Yoga does help with core strength, and flexibility, and that I need so badly.
However, right now I am on spinning class. I went to my first Spin class this past friday, and loved it. Even though it kicked my a$$. For some stupid reason, I went back again this morning. I am having trouble walking up and down stairs.
Maybe next week I will take on Yoga.

I treid a yoga class a few months ago but the classroom was about 90 degrees - I started to sweat so much my glasses were sliding down my nose! You are right, it was surprisingly very very very hard! And, of course, I laughed everytime she said and now... downward dog... I am surprised they didnt kick me out!!! Glad you enjoyed it, Rebecca
