HAS ANYONE USED DR FOOTE FROM GRAND RAPIDS MICHINGA?

I will be having surgery with him on the 23rd of this month. When I met him I was a bit nervous. But after talking to him, my nerves calmed down. He is a very soft spoken man who seems to be very caring and concerned about one's well being. I don't think that you will be disappointed. ~Aimee~

was Dr V your surgeron or Dr Foote????

He was my surgeon and I had nothing  but problems with my surgery and when the complications started I had alot of problems with him and the office staff.  Tricia   

I'm sorry to hear that they gave you such a hard time..I'm going with Dr Foote..I just had a feeling somthing wasnt right with Dr V's office...thanks for your input

He did my surgery in June 06 and I had absolutely no problems at all.  In fact, I was up and riding my bike within a week of surgery (I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but I felt good enough to do that). 

HI DEBBIE...I HAD DR FOOTE AND LOVE HIM TO DEATH!!!! HIS STAFF IS ALSO VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL AFTER MY WLS.  YOU WILL BE IN GOOD HANDS WITH DR FOOTE!!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

We've talked about Dr. Foote and his office before and I sent you a PM... Dr. Foote did my surgery...he came recommended by my PCP...unlike the others I have had some complications from my surgery...and I can honestly say that there has not been a great deal of follow-up on his part. I was told that you only see him at the 2 week follow-up and from there on you see the PA's and that has been true in my case. Now I am sure he is "behind the scenes" but I figure I will never see him again.....just a little fyi.

I too have Dr Foote, and I just sen him today for my two week checkup.  I love him and I cannot say that enough.  He is very soft spoken and sincere.  He takes his time with you and answers every question to the fullest and does not leave you in a dumb found state.  I too would like to see him more, but Todd the PA is just as wonderful.  Great bed side mannor.  I'm sure Dr Foote wants to see us more, but there are more and more new patients that too need attention.  I'm sure if we truly needed to see him, it would not be a problem.. I dont think.. I'm content knowing he is there if I need him...
