Hey Jodi, glad you are doing great.   You pretty much have the idea of what you will be able to eat.  Just don't do what I did.  Don't go overboard on buying things.  You won't be able to eat it all.  I stuck with cream soups (potato was my favorite).  You need to make it with milk - this is where you get the protein from.  Cottage cheese is a very high source of protein - 13 grams in a 1/2 c.  (this is about what you will be able to eat).  Yogurt.  Mashed potatoes.  Squash - not fresh - the frozen stuff in the box.   I spent about 60.00 on food on the way home from the doctors and ate about 10.00 worth.  Your important thing is to check the protein content.  Go for the high protein brands.   Good luck - can't wait to hear from you on Tuesday after your appointment to see how much you've lost.

If you have a Kroger store near you, they have a low carb yogurt that has 12 grams of protein in it.  It's Kroger brand.  I ate a lot of it for the first month after surgery.  Glad things are going well for you! Jenn
