2nd week menu (M)
Hey Jodi, glad you are doing great. You pretty much have the idea of what you will be able to eat. Just don't do what I did. Don't go overboard on buying things. You won't be able to eat it all. I stuck with cream soups (potato was my favorite). You need to make it with milk - this is where you get the protein from. Cottage cheese is a very high source of protein - 13 grams in a 1/2 c. (this is about what you will be able to eat). Yogurt. Mashed potatoes. Squash - not fresh - the frozen stuff in the box. I spent about 60.00 on food on the way home from the doctors and ate about 10.00 worth. Your important thing is to check the protein content. Go for the high protein brands.
