Stacey W - I rode a horse
OMGSH Stacey I don't know how you do it riding horses. I about killed myself this weekend. We went horse back riding with the kids. Now I've been on a horse before, actually showed horses in 4-H as a kid. But I haven't been on one in 20 years.
Problem - I have not padding on my butt!!!!! I swear my butt bones are bruised..... it hurts sooooo darn bad!!!!! Today sitting in class I was about dieing!! Dh was lauging at me sooo much.. but that's because he has a lot of padding there!
UGH - thank God we don't have the money to go riding very often.

Hi Laurie!!
It takes a while to get into the swing. First, I began taking English lessons last year. That is when I was SO SORE I thought OMG.
Believe it or not, maxi pads help cushion the tush for a while.
You need to stay riding to get 'tough' to handle it and progress. I ride now two times a week, 1 english lesson and 1 just trail ride or ride in the paddock or indoor arena.
English is more refined and very difficult and you have to concentrate a great deal more than Western. Western is laid back easy going and still alot of fun! I chose English to learn something new and I like the challenge!
Believe me- I could never ride before WLS!!!
I have some videos of me and photos here--hope they all work for you !! Send me your EMAIL in a message and I'll send them to you.
I guess for me the money is about priority. You have kids. I don't. And I just make it something that I enjoy doing. We all have Hobbies. This is mine. And I'll do whatever it takes to manage it.
I have to stay with the program riding or I lose momentum and being that once in a while I am out of commission, it does cost me to return (pain wise in the tush) but you get that back!
Got any pics?
Take care!!
Stacey W
ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMGSH - that was funny!! I'll have to buy dh a cowboy hat so he can be a cowboy!! (no arguments from him there, I'm sure)
We are doing GREAT!!! The kids are doing very well in school here. They got their first report cards last week an grades didn't suffer at all in the move (thank you God)! And even my special ed child did great. He was retested and has improved in a HUGE leap from last year to now. They said they were expecting a decline because of moving and a new school and what not!!
Funny - it's warmer in Michigan today then down here in OK. I'm wearing a winter sweater today!!!
