Just a Little scared !! regret wls
Hi everyone !! well i had a little scare today, i went to see my prim dr and she is worried about how much weight i have lost since jan. i am too !! scaled in at 139, home scale about 138. i fear and not happy at the way i look, i need to Gain at least 5 lbs.
was 246 day of surgery jan 8,07.
i feel that this was not a good idea,i am too skinny yes i said it !!! i need muscle, yep i have walking and doing exercise at gym, but i feel week !!
is there any supplements i can take to increase weight ? this not a good weight for me. i was 145 with muscle mass in the usaf 1989.
my limbs are like flat with no shape !! i look terrible, hanging skin on my arms, legs and butt.
what do i do ???
i have appt with dr.taylor 10/15. what do i tell him ?
has anyone been thru this ???
i want to hide !
any help ??

Honey, don't worry so much. Trust me, you will eventually gain some weight bac****il your body feels comfortable. I got down to 110 lbs. and I had size 0's falling off of me. At the time I thought it was fantasti****il I saw physical pictures of myself. I am now 4 years out and am at 135 lbs. and feel and look healthy. Do be sure to stay in touch with your doctors to ensure that all is well. Hang in there girl. I am proud of you!!

We all bounce back up or at least most of us do. I blew past my goal big time and started to panic a little. Though experimenting I got back to where I am comfortable again. I did do a lot of puking though so I'll give you the benefit of my trip.
Add to your diet 100 cals a day for a week and see if you stabilize. Make it a quality food choice like an extra protein bar. If you are still losing do another 100 for another week.
Remember that 1 or 2 pounds a week is a big deal now whereas before 2 pounds was unnoticeable.
You'll be ok.

Thx kevin, i just need a good nut to help me choose good food choices and daily meal plan.
i try to eat/ drink protein foods but sometimes i don't feel hungry ! i try to eat at least every 3 hrs.
am- pkg oatmeal or shredded wheat
snack- protein bar
lunch- salad with shredded turkey or chiccken, cherry tomatoes ect
snack- crackers or protein bar
dinner- lean cuisen dinner or baked chicken ,vege
sometimes i eat burrito, turkey burger, slow cooked roast, frozen pizza-lc
snack- sf jello or pudding , lite peaches,sf cookies or whatever i can find thats low sugar and sodium.
i need guidence !

hang in there, i am about 10 lbs lighter than i want to be, i have increased my calories to about 1200-1300 a day and have stopped losing. it is a bit scary when you get below where you want to be. skinny? YES!! too skinny? somewhat, I am hoping to add a little mass. i just make sure i get all of my protein and if i am low calorie wise, i have an ice cream cone! no added sugar of course. just increase calories healthily and you will reach the comfort point for your body. you have done a great job! teri
