Hi all, I haven't posted for awhile but I have been doing really well.  I have lost 48 pounds since 7/30 and haven't had really any issues after the intial post op stuff.  But today I ate some leftover salmon and green beans and it felt like something got stuck and I threw up on and off for an hour.  Well, I probably ate too big a bite and I won't be doing that again. I have been very careful not to eat too much so I have been keeping my portions to 1/4 to 1/2 cup of food at a meal.  My  two part question is, why do you throw up if you eat too big a bite and is it okay to drink something now?  It has been 2 1/2 hours and I feel very thristy but am scared to eat or drink anything. Thanks all, Susan in Mount Morris

Catty, I laught whenever I look at that strawberry with the little face in it.  My dietician told me leftovers, warmed up can cause WL patients problems.  She didn't say why, but I have heard this from more then one person, and it has happened to me.  Warming up leftovers can make you sick. Hope this helps.  If it keeps up, call your doctor. Take care.
