1 yr what a change
Wow guys. One yr ago I was so miserable and sore. Now I am a size 4.... I never thought that I would get this far. 156 lbs and an entire person gone. Now my hubby says I skinny. I just realized how small I am. I couldn't see it. My mind was still in fat mode. I just wanted to check in since I moved and say hey to all my friends and thank you so much for the past year of support and kudos. No one really understands what we go through but us. THANK YOU DR SCHRAM!!!!
I hit a plateau at that time too. Jus****ch your sugar and fat intake and do some walking. It will pass. I stayed at the same wt for about 6-7 weeks then lost 8 lbs in a few days. Your body is adjusting and from now on out you will hit these and then loose somemore. Just really watch your eating, your sugar and fat intake. It will pass don't loose your focus. It will get hard for awhile cause you want it. I would love to have a piece of chocolate cake. But sugar makes me really really sick. I have lost more than I ever thought I would. You have to remember that most people only loose 70% of thier excess weight. I am an exception to the rule. At least that is what my dr keeps telling me. I only need to loose about 8 more lbs to be at what the AMA says I should weigh. Keep the faith and don't loose your focus. We went through this for a reason, and that was to loose. Keep it up you are doing just fine.
Wow,
Congrats! You should stand very tall and proud.. I do remember what it was like to be in pain every day! I love being the new healthier me too. But I too am stuck on the mother of all weight loss plateau's. I am nine months post RNY! I have slacked off on treadmill but I am returning to it now. I my mind is also still in fat mode too. Look around when people say hey slim and so on.. LOL To my fellow slow losers we are not alone; best wishes and sucess to all! Hugs, Judy R
Isn't it a great new life? I don't think we truly understand the gift we've been given until we reach our goals (no matter what they are). I never thought I'd be able to do what I've been doing, wear the new clothes and sizes I now wear. It's almost a miracle. Congrats on the new you.
