I bought a bathing suit!!!!!

We are taking at trip to Kanas as my oldest daughter has to have heart surgery and it will be done using a scope to repair a hole in her heart.  She is almost 38 and had not had any symptoms until recently and it started with silent migraines.  The neurologist ordered a echocardiogram and then a TEE(transesophageal echo cardiogram).  They hole is one that should have closed when she was an infant.  Yes she had all of her well baby checkups.  It makes you feel like you did n't do your job as a parent.  I am quite alarmed over it all.  With 5 childern at home she needs to be well.   So we will be staying in Kansas City and the going down to Great Bend.  Of course motels with swimming pools and had to break down and buy a suit,the first one since  1989.  Makes a big difference from a 3X to a size 8/10.  I tried it on for hubby and his comments were good but nothing I can repeat on here  , hubba, hubba, if you know what I mean.   lol He surprised me with this trip, as she had told me I didn't need to come but was worrying.   So it is a very big suprise to me.  He got the time off from work and I got someone to work one day for me and we are all set. It will be up to the surgeon and Gods guiding hands for her on Oct. 5. Hope this finds all well, I know that I have been lurking but it has been a rough summer for us. Take care all. Brenda 

hI just  wanted to tell you not to worry. .  i also had a hole in heart repaired at 32 years old . i am now 57.  My daughter had it done at 2 years old.  We both had open surgery.  Its much easier now. She will be fine.    { Its called an atrial septal defect.}

m thoughts and best wishes are with you and your ffamily . things will work out okay for your daughter.and wow congrats on yor new bathing suit. isnt it wonderful about all the new things we can wear now. it took me 13 months to lloose my weight and all i can say is i may be 50 years old but i am not gonna dress  like a 50 year old woman.i am discovering all the nice clothes that younger girls can wear now and i am wearing them now. good luck . from one young woman to another young woman.
