October Get together
I have an issue with things this close too. I mean my TT is on the 3rd and sweetest day is on the 20th and because of husband obligations I cannot go out on the 20th with a group of people. He already has plans for me. I am not sure how much I will be up for the weekend before since it is so close to my operation. The 27th might work for me but I am already invited to a halloween party that night and might have to split gigs that day.
Maybe since it is so close to October we can plan something into November before Thanksgiving so that we all can see one another before the holidays and the craziness begins. Just my opinion.

Yay! Yay! I WILL be at the Christmas supper club with gift in hand. Just tell me where and when. I would have it at my house, but I live in a tiny shoebox that would only accomodate one extra person!
Jay, you should post what days you are going out so those that want to tag along can.
Stacey's idea is great because if we pick a date now then we can plan other holiday stuff around that. So post where you live and we can figure out where a "central location" is.
I'm in Westland, which is 20 miles west of Detroit and 20 or so miles East of Ann Arbor.
we haven't decided on the maze yet because we are flexible and were hoping others would come and we were willing to do one geographically convenient. if we go ourselves we will probably do the one in Bloomfield http://farm.bloomfield.org/ but i'm not sure when. If anyone else wants to come, speak up!
As for the Meat Puppets concert that's on Tuesday Nov 6th at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor.
