October Get together

My hubby and I do a county wide treasure hunt every year the 3rd or 4th weekend of Oct.  I'm going to check the dates this weekend, but it should be the weekend of the 27th.  So, I won't be able to make it.  WAHHHHHH!

Ok it says haunted corn field...so I guess that is different from the maze?   I think this isn't turning out to be very productive.  Maybe we should just schedule a bar/bowling thing in Novemeber, but schedule early so we can all mark our calendars? 

OK- who knows a bowling alley that has karaoke we all can go to? Maybe like the 13th or Sat before that?  After Nov 1 I can't go- I will be in some pain and on some good drugs from TT..LOL

There's a bowling alley here in Chelsea.  They often have live bands/karaoke/comedians.  I've lived here for nearly 8 years and I've never been there.  LOL! 

i really liked hanging out with everyone but a disco was kind of pushing it already, do we really have to combine bowling with karaoke?   that sounds like a swell night out for the old folks from the home but we're all young vibrant GAPs with a ton of energy, interest and excitement, right?! Let's do something energetic!  or at least with music that's not older than some of our surgeons!  ;-)

Lets all rent a limo together- it can pick us all up and drop us all off..no driving and we can bar hop all night???  What do u guys think?

won't the geographical distance between most of us make that difficult?

Yeah-might as well forget planning anything- nothing works for anyone...LOL  Maybe November or December?

Well i plan on going to the haunted corn field in October and the concert in November and if anyone wants to they're welcome to join us.  I can't believe how hard it is to get people to just say, "yes, we'll be there".  i guess we've all lost so much mass that the pull of our individual gravities has decreased.  the way i figure it is if I of all people went to a disco, then it can't be that difficult for people to come out and hang.

I had to go ahead and book things on the 13th and the 20th.  So if we can come up with a consensus on what to do and when to do it that's not on those dates, count me in.
