So today is the day I started the "pre-op" diet.  One word... ICK!!  Started out great at 7:30am had a pre prepared chocolate drink that was Yumm!!  1:10pm started making breakfast of apple cinnamon oatmeal.. smelled delish, but first bite it about came back out.. It is discusting!!!.. so dr'ed it up with 10 packs of splenda.. Not 10 but one.. and made a world of differance.  I know my breakfast is a little late, but went back to bed and took a long nap after the shake thingie.  I know this is going to be hard, but at least we can also have other things to drink with i****er, propel, crystal lite, decaf coffee.. and other low cal drinks.  If we could not have a varity of drinks, I would die.   I am ready for this change.. there is going to be NO cheating on this.  If so... It will show in the scale.. and I want to have an awesome weight in like Katsara did yesterday... I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL OCT THREE!!!  Good Lord, please make these last two weeks go by fast. Thanks for reading... Jodi :O)

You will do fine with it!! I have all the faith that you will keep strong.   And remember the first few days are the hardest. I'm to the point where I have to keep remembering to get them all in on time. If I wait too long I get tired. So keep on track.. I know it's hard.. but the reward is great!

my dog would not even eat the oatmeal.  The protein bars are good.   The first couple days are the hardest, but you can do it.  Try making the drink as a pudding.    the no sugar added popcicles saved my butt.   I also mixed the juice with sugar free jello - I am not a fruit juice drinker.

I'm surprised no one warned you about the oatmeal.  I had heard it was bad but didn't experience it because I've not been able to eat oatmeal since we had to fix it in home ec class back in 1964.
