Losers Bench...Here I Come

I can't believe it....I finally have a date. October 11th.  It seems like it has taken forever, but actually the process has been quite fast.  Can't wait to join all of you wonderful successful people on the losers bench. Thanks for all you support along the way. ~Sheryl

As a comparison, your BMI is just a tiny bit higher than mine was when I had the surgery, and my first anniversary date is October 24.  I'm now a size 8 and loving it!  So can you picture yourself one year from now as a size 8?  This past year has been a fantastic journey!!!  I found the first three months very frustrating with trying to figure out what to eat, but that will pass so fast.  And of course the people here on OH were so helpful during that phase. My doctor told me he thought attendance at a support group should be mandatory.  I totally agree!  Hopefully you have one available that you can go to. Marie

A size 8? Are you kidding me? I was  born larger. I do have a support group through Beaumont Hospital, and OH has been more amazing than I thought possible.  People here are amazing.  Sooo very helpful and kind.  Thanks for putting things into perspective...an 8!!!
