OT- I GOT A JOB!!!!
This morning I had an interview at the college for the cultural center via the work-study program. I was upfront about my disabilities, and knew it would be (at most) 20 hours a week. I spent a good 75 minutes speaking with her.
At the end of the interview, I asked if I could be notified one way or the other (this was at 11:30am) if I was selected for the position. She said that she had several more interviews, but she would call me (either today or Monday).
I just got a call from her about 30 minutes ago and she offered me the position! I have to go in on Monday to fill out the paperwork and authorize a background check.
At least this will be something that I can put on my resume. I've been without work for 17 1/2 years, so I am happy about this.
Because it is via the work study, I am limited to the maximum hours I can work (20), the amount of the work study grant ($1875) and the actual time - about mid December.
I believe that this will help me out in more ways than one. Just say a prayer that EVERYTHING will work out for me!!
Thank you Lord!!!

Congradulations Rhonda, I know personally how it feels to be back in the work force, myself it was 10 years since I've worked. It surely makes a person feel worth while.
Good luck with the new job.
