Curious about intake
Hi Laurie,
Good for you for keeping tabs of your intake. I haven't done that since the first year, I'm just too lazy, I guess. Saying that though, I am very careful ( usually) about what I eat. I drink a very large protein drink to start every day, and lots of water. I take my vitamins every day, and other than that, I try to eat a very balanced diet of protein, fruit, veggies, and multigrain carbs. I usually eat a SF treat of some sort every night, mostly a couple of SF cookies.
My weight stays very, very stable. I still weigh myself every morning, as from the beginning. I know my body so well now, I can tell if the scale is up a pound or so of water weight based on what I ate the day before, or if it is a true weight gain. I had lots of company the beginning of August and ate more food and more simple carbs, and gained about 5 pounds. By being really careful about what I ate, I was able to take it off in about two weeks. So far, I have been very fortunate with my weight loss maintainance. I got down to my current weight in early April, and have pretty much stayed there. Keeping my fingers crossed that I don't creep up any weight over time. Back to the four days a week exercise after some time off this summer.

I've been good at keeping my weight stable for a while now. I just wonder what we "should" be eatting. I LOVE my protein drink, and would probably drink it if I didn't need to. lol I too get on the scales every day and have since surgery. I learned real quick what my body does as far as water gain flux and what not. It's good to know that so ya don't freak out over nothing.
Tonight was my first time exercising in about a year!! I've basically done nothing since my TT. I decided it'd be good to get back in the habit.
Thanks for the reply!!
