Need a good "legal" dessert for meeting
Our office "celebrates" our birthdays by bringing in a dessert to staff meeting for our birthday. The person's birthday before ours brings the food for your birthday. The girl that has to do mine is in a tither. Not knowing what to make. I generally stay away from desserts.
Can anyone give me one of their favorites so she can make something special for my birthday.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Pam

I think this is your Cream Puff Dessert recipe.
Cream Puff Dessert
Dough:
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter (1 stick, no substitutions)
1 cup all purpose flour (I tried whole wheat flour does NOT taste good)
4 eggs
Filling:
1 package of cream cheese softened (8 ounces)
3 1/2 cups milk (I personally use soy milk because of lactose problems)
3 big packages of Sugar Free Chocolate instant pudding
Topping:
1 package of Sugar Free Cool Whip
Almonds (sliced or slivered)
Optional:
Chocolate or Carmel ice cream topping (I used sugar free for mine)
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour all at once; stir until a smooth ball forms. Remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes. Add the eggs, 1 at a time; beating well after each addition. (note: I use a fork to stir them in and you have to make sure the eggs are mixed in very well) Beat until smooth
Spread into a 13X9 baking dish. (I use Pam on my spoon to get it to spread easily in the pan) Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Meanwhile in a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, milk and pudding mix until smooth. Spread over puff; refrigerate for 20 minutes. Spread with whipped topping; refrigerate until serving. Drizzle with chocolate and caramel if chosen, sprinkle with almonds and serve. Store leftovers in the fridge.
Pam, I bake a black forest cake with 2 ingredients and it is very tasty and very low in sugar and calories.
1 Chocolate cake mix (I use the low sugar)
1 Can No Sugar Added Cherry pie filling
Mix the 2 ingredients together (yes, just the 2) the batter will be thick. I use cupcake wrappers for 2 reasons, you can just eat one, the other it is faster. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes, or when done. Each cupcake is less than 70 calories, very little sugar, and no fat. Makes about 12 cupcakes, and I guarantee, nobody will know they are low in calories and fat. Good Luck. Carol
Pam, go to www.sonialees.com . They have cheesecake mixes on there that you can order. They have only 2 grams of sugar per serving. You mix it with cream cheese and cool whip. I just made one for my birthday. I used light cream cheese (less than one gram of sugar) and sugar free cool whip. It doesn't even have to be in a crust. If you prefer it that way, try fat free graham crackers and butter buds to make the crust. Easy, low cal, and low sugar. Yummy!!! Happy birthday
