OT: Well I didn't get kicked out of the house.....

I brought home a new puppy!!!! Did it without asking - just made a decision and brought her home. I put her pic on my profile if anyone wants to see. She is a chihuahua! She now weighs 3lbs 10oz.!!!!! She is so sweet, friendly and playful. The kids just love her to death. My husband said after our dog Sparky died (2 1/2 yrs ago) that we would never have another dog. That I better have divorce papers ready if I ever bring home another dog. So I wasn't sure if Bella and I would be homeless. But he has softened up to her quite a bit. A lot more than I even hoped. So the hard part - potty training!!!!!! This is not fun. But the kids are older and they have been helping with her. Just wanted to share my new baby with you guys. Carey

Awww Carey she is gorgeous!!  She has some big ole ears!!  LOL  Enjoy the new puppy!!  Potty training was sooo easy with my 2 dogs- never once had an accident inside!! Shannon

How the heck did you manage that?? Please share your secrets!!! It's a good thing I have all hardwood floors in my house - I'm sure her and I would be sitting on the curb right now!!!

 Carey- No secret- I just took them outside after they ate, after they woke up, after they played and make sure I say Go Potty....never gave them a chance to go in the house. Kept my eye on them at a ll time- if they  started sniffing I took them out.  SHannon

OMG!  We have been doing that with her and she doesn't go!  We'll go out there for an hour and nothing!  Bella just seems to be in her own little world.  We also have the pads to potty train her.  I can tell this is going to be a long process.  My other dog Sparky did not take long at all.  Wish me luck!!!   Carey

They say the owner and the dog look alike so your DH must have some big ears!!  LOL just kidding she looks like a cutie enjoy her to the fullest.. I am she the muchkins are excited .... And don`t step on her !!.. Paul

LOL!!!!! She is so adorable! We are enjoying her. Trust me, we watch where we walk now that's for sure.

Wow what a great Pup! Where did you get that from? I have two Chi-chi's at my house and I can tell you, they make my life so great! Bella, is a great name, but I agree with the other post. She doesn't look like you. She must look like her daddy.
