anyone have any info on how to rent a "cool" car?  I'm trying to find a Mustang or Vette or something to rent for the week of our wedding and am not having a lot of luck.  Best i can do is a Charger or "similar" with no guarantee it will be a Charger when i go to pick it up.  I live in DETROIT for goodness sake, certainly i should be able to rent a cool ride.  Avis says they have a whole fleet of cool cars like 'stangs, crossfires etc. but every Detroit area location i pick has nothing but boring cars.  Any help?   I figure being in Michigan there must be some auto-insiders here who know where i gotta go. thanks people.

Hertz has a stang available next weekend. https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/reservation/gaq/index.jsp?targetPage=whatView.jsp https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/reservation/gaq/index.jsp?targetPage=bookableQuoteView.jsp I would lend you my Porsche but I don't like you that much. You don't have to run with avis. kp

Don' take this the wrong way but i don't like your Porsche that much.  I'm more partial to a 911 or 928.  ;-) i'll check hertz again but didn't have any luck by phone.  thanks.

Have you tried contacting Ford's world headquarters in Dearborn? Try their promo department. If nothing else they may be able to steer  you in the right direction (pun INTENDED)  Or

You may want to try smaller/local places. One in Livingston County that comes to my mind is Connelly Car Rental.
