Today i saw Dr. S for what might be the last time in quite awhile.  I'm gonna miss him and the care he gave me.  what a great guy and great doctor. and what a great sense of humor he has.  He took me in when i moved up here and did two surgeries on me.  He did my soon to be wife's gastric bypass and what a fine job he did. He always gave me the best of care and takes the time to make his patients feel really cared for.  He gives out his personal cell phone, he calls us when we're sick.  He looked out for me on issues that didn't even concern my gastric bypass.  I'm really gonna miss him.  western michigan is lucky because they're getting an awesome doctor heading their way.

Hi Jay,     I agree it isn't everyday or every Dr that we can rely on! Hope that you can find another Dr who will take as good an interest in you as he did. Where is your Dr moving too? I need a new Dr live near Flint, MI??? Take care, Sincerely, Judy R

He's going to the St. Joseph area.  I'm very grateful he was my surgeon, my next appointment with him will be my last here.  Fortunately I go to Chicago every December, so I'll just make a little detour on my way for my check-ups.   He's been great and seems just so happy to moving there -- seems like it'll be a great thing for his family too.  Got to respect that. --Sax

OH NO!  I ditto everything you said about him.  He's all of that and more.  What will all of us post ops do?  I dint know he was moving, but I do know he has family on that side of the state. I really am happy for him.   I don't have a follow up till next March.  Wonder who is going to take his patients?

He is referring us to dr. Kole which in my opinion is as awesome as Dr. S.  He didn't do any surgeries on me but he was there at the hospital for my followup and has seen me in some office visits and i really really liked him.  And as Dr. S. put it, there's no one else he would trust us to.  We will be in good hands.  We should be getting the paper work in the mail in the nxt two weeks or so.  It will give us info about how Dr. Kole will be seeing us and also how to stay in touch with Dr. S. Dr S. is not the kind of guy who would leave us unless he knew we were going to be well taken care of.

You're right he wouldn't trust us to just anyone.  I've had Dr. Kole for a few visits at the office and in the hospital.  I like him.  Good to know he will be taking over.  Thanks!

Dr Kole was my surgeon and he and Dr S worked together on it.  They are an awesome pair but trust Dr S and myself when we say you are in good hands with Dr Kole.

he didn't just say "good hands' he said Dr. Kole was the ONLY person he'd entrust us to.  that's a ringing endorse for me and i would not consider anyone else. plus my few experiences with Dr. Kole were wonderful.  He has my utmost respect and trust.
