Since I've had this surgery, my face has gotten smaller and my glasses have been falling off.  i was going to try to go get them adjusted, but wouldn't you know, the fell of yesterday when i bent down to pick something up outside last night, and it was dark, i couldn't see, took one step and stepped on them and broke them.  Now  I will have to go get a whole new pair, and they aren't cheap.  Another one of the special things that happen when you lose weight. lol  thank god i had an old pair, (but they don't have the bifocal in them).  at least they will last until i can afford another pair.  hope you all have a good day. jo

Is it possible you could wear contacts? Not everyone can but I gave up my glasses and am thrilled that I did!! Stacey W

I remember that same feeling. Then the optician and the staff there worked with me and I don't put my finger in my eye.  I can't even tell it's in there.  Course, I've worn them for years before WLS and now wearing them again. It's all if you want it bad enough....just like WLS.  No matter what it takes, if we want it bad enough, we'll do it. good luck!!! Stacey W
