Hello, I'm new

I had my surgery on July 2, 07.  I am now finding that I am hungry.  I do get full faster, but I am worried and haven't lost as much wieght as I thought I would.  I get my first fill on August 28th and I hope that will stop the hunger.  However, I have read other posts from members and some are still hungry after a fill and can eat lots of food.  If the hunger persist, is it common to take an appetite suppressant?  I don't know what to do.

Hi, Mimi...I'm not a lap-bander, so I really can't help you with your questions.  I just wanted to say HI and WELCOME to the board.  There is a lap band forum on OH and there was another post on the MI board, a few below you, titled LAP BAND.  It was posted by another person in MI looking for MI people that had the lap band.  Good luck and congrats on your lap band!
