How many calories?
I was wondering what the calorie range is that people are staying at when they're near or at goal.
I'm finding myself being scared to go over 1,200 calories for fear of gaining weight. Is this too low? Too high? I usually stay at about 1,000 calories. I'm staying around 90-100 grams of protein, thanks to a great-tasting protein drink I got from Barix.

Too many variables to tell you a certain number. Depends on how active you are as well.
I'm maintaining and I try to get in 1500 per day, don't always make that, but it's my goal I strive for. I too get in around 100 grams of protein, that seems to work well for me.
You just have to play with the numbers to see what your body requires.
Laurie, Do you keep track of carbs, too, or just protein and calories? Do you have a range you keep the carbs within? I'm averaging around 110-120, still losing, though very slowly. I only want to lose four or five more pounds. Watching the numbers move can be so addictive. I officially crossed the line yesterday - I'm now "normal"!! This morning I weighed 140.0 - I can't believe I'm so close to the 130s!!! Marie

I did keep track of calories and protein and carbs. But, I was incredibly strict with myself. Like my sugar limit was 5 grams per meal (if at all). My carbs were under 30 grams and my protein went from 70grams per day to 100grams cuz 70 wasnt cutting it.
I would think that cutting back on the carbs, and making sure those you do eat are real good, complex carbs would help you shed those last few pounds.

Marie,
i keep calories close to 1200-1300. my protein is 75-90g daily. i am still losing, but slowing way down. i really dont want to lose more than a maximum of 6 more lbs. you just have to see where your body does the best with. i still do one and sometimes 2 protein drinks a day plus 4 or 5 meals and snacks. congrats on the loss! teri
