Dr. Kam news

There was a question about Dr. Kam leaving recently.  I had my 6 week check up today and it is true.  He is moving to Traverse City, he said that his wife got her dream job and they have been living apart for 8 months now.  He is moving there because he said that it was his turn to be supportive!  He is such a GREAT guy, no wonder we all thought he was such a great Dr.  He did say that he will continue seeing his patients through December and moving the 1st of the year.  He said the other 2 surgeons will be taking over our care after the 1st of the year. I am sorry to hear that you are loosing your surgeon but that is great for the people in Traverse city.  I hope that he will practice in the area we need another surgeon in the area regarding bariactric patients what a bonus to Munson.  Thanks for the information.  Tricia

That makes me sad. 

He is one of the main reasons I went to Barix.  I will continue there because the staff is excellant.  I will miss him alot.  But then again, traveling to Traverse City is not any farther for me than Ypsilanti.

Thank you for posting this.  I had no idea he was leaving until I read this.  I really liked him too.   TC is getting a wonderful surgeon with Dr. Kam.  Damn. . this is such a bummer..
