looking for house to rent

HI everyone, i hope i can post this msg !! my brother is diabled and receives a va pension, his landlord has let his bank foreclose on the mortage. sherriff sale is 8/22. i don't know to much about this kind of problem but i know i need to find a place for my brother. he has 2 older dogs , i can not kill them !! he pays $550 a mth, but really can only afford $ 500. i take care of his bill and errands, he doesn't drive but is a excellent housekeeper. and quiet, non-smoker. he lives in river rouge and i know he can get help from fia with security deposit. so if anyone has any connections please let me know.  hugs,

thx tina, i guess river rouge, ecorse downriver area due to the limited income he has. i will be grateful for your husbands assistance.the landlord is calling for the august rent, i am very leary to pay him because of the situation,i am trying to hold off for another week,  pm me for my cell contact number ok?

Rebecca,Iam so sorry you have to go through this I know it is very upsetting, I am A Real Estate Agent and I can tell you this is happening alot, After 8/22 the sherrifs sale the owner should have 6 months to redeem the property most of the time it does not happen though that they do redeem (which means that they make up all back payments and penalties) and then generally then after that they would have to evict your brother from the property about anothetr 40 days or so, I would be leary as well I will pm you with my phone number I can give you some good Ideas about the rent thing, Marcia Dyer
