gettin close!! need support

well hi all, i am 2 weeks away from my pre surg appt.n and then two weeks away from that for surgery. i HAVE lost 20  lbs since I last posted and worjk out in the gymjj 5 days per week. I hear that another 14 lbs and I will not be eligible to get surgery if I lose that much.. yeah right, like i DONT need to still lose after that. lol. support will be well. getting a bit scared now.,.. physically fit even thouigh obese so I guess this will help with post op stuff better? just wanted o share. do not an angel or whatever. Im in muskegon and newer here not sure how things work.... thanks for listening, Ann

Hello Ann, I am in MIch too and have my surgery on the 15th. I have lost about 20 lbs too, good job! I am pretty scared too, and hungry :)

Well It is pretty standard for all surgeons to tell you to drop 10-15 or more pounds before surgery. But you have a big hurdle out of your way. You have your dates. Yes we all are full of information on the post op stuff. And after surgery you will still learn more. Ask any questions you want. People here are very friendly but with the great weather outside it sometimes takes some time to get an answer... But I am glad to see a new face..
