OT: Your MP3/IPOD-music choices
I've recently fallen in love with some new artists (new to me anyway):
1. Jack Johnson
2. Amos Lee
3. Matt Wertz
If you're looking for workout music, here's a great site. You can find songs based on the number of beats per minute --- so correspond with how fast you're walking/running. Lots of great songs in all different genres. (They also link to sites where you can download the mp3's for as little as 10-cents per song.)

Another favorite MP3 site is http://www.projectplaylist.com/. Just t ype in the song and artist and it'll give you a list of places to download it for free or at a very small fee. (Never understood why people pay $1 per song on iTunes when there's are so many places to get them for much cheaper!)
I've got a new CD on order from Christine Kane. She doesn't seem to have songs posted anywhere that I can download on the net, so once I get her CD I'll rip the songs to MP3's for my player. I love her sound! (I also love her blog - she's so inspirational!) http://christinekane.com/blog
Ok, enough music gabbing from me. LOL!

PS -- oh wait... have you checked out www.pandora.com? This site is awesome. You enter the name of an artist or a song that you love and it'll find more songs with a similar sound. I've found so many new artists this way!

I just heard that Van Halen is going to be touring and I was telling my almost 13 year old son about how "awesome" I thought they were back in the day. I dl'd some of their music so he could hear it. I don't think he was really impressed, but he said he'd go to the show with me!
I'm on an oldies kick right now.
