I need a Primary Physician...any referals?

I recently had a consultation at a Barix Clinic. I recently moved to the Kalamazoo, Michigan area and am in need of finding a primary care physician. My surgeon told me it needs to be someone who is an Internest or someone who specializes in Internal Medicine and Adult Medicine. Does anyone have any referrals that they could give me for this area?? Thank you so much in advance! -Jessica-

I don't know anyone in the Kalamazoo area, I live in Battle Creek, but maybe you could get a name through the bariatric department at Borgess. It's a fairly new department.  https://www.borgess.com/?pId=483 It's so important to find a primary care physician who supports bariatric surgery.  When I first moved to Battle Creek, I had trouble finding a physician and the one I found was very opposed to the surgery. After seeing her for a couple of years I changed to someone else who was all for the idea.  If I hadn't switched doctors I wouldn't be on the losers bench now!!
