Goodbye to an old friend....

After almost 15 years, I had to say goodbye to a dear old friend..... Lane Bryant! I went in there yesterday to get a bra and something to wear on Saturday night.  Everything (except the new jeans) was too big!  They don't even carry my bra size.  Yipee! I still have a hard time finding stuff in the "regular" stores, but I will shop and shop until I find something.  This week will be spent in Fairlane getting a pedi and going to Victoria's Secret!

That is awesome isn't it!!  I had conflicting feelings over this.  I liked the styles in there and had a hard time knowing where to find the more stylish "normal" sized clothes.  It took me a while, but now I am a shopping pro!!  Congrats to you and many happy shopping days ahead! Wendy

My husband keeps picking on me about what am I going to do after I can't wear anything at lane bryant.  I have my LB credit card and shop their all the time.  I actually look forward to not going to LB and being able to shop in normal sized clothing with my normal friends. So congrats!!!  That has to be a pretty cool feeling!

This reminds me a blog I read often by  "PastaQueen.   The blog is called "Half of Me".  Her blog/story has been picked up by a publisher and her new book will be called "Breaking up with Lane Bryant."  Due out in 2008.
