Thanks to everyone on this forum for being so supportive.  You've all pitched in and helped me so much.  Today is my 4th week and I begin soft foods.  Can't wait to try out those cheese and crackers for a snack. Today is my husband's birthday.  I'm ordering KFC chicken for dinner.  I know, but his family likes it.  Seems weird to think I will be serving that, while cooking ground turkey for myself.  But I like that concept.  It feels so good to be doing something right for a change, instead of eating the off limit foods tonight and trying to promise myself I will do better tomorrow.   I only pray I keep this spirit up....and everyone else on this forum who is losing weight. Blessings to you all.

Wow pooch you are doing fantastic!!! I hope I do as well as you at 4 weeks. You are a brave soul to serve KFC..lol... I have noticed that everyone who comes over feels compelled to tell me what they had to eat. Interestingly enough, I noticed that not many people eat very healthy, even when they are trying to impress you..lol... guess that is why our nutrition classes pay off. Now I am hyper aware.. I am sure you will do well though. You are a strong woman and I know you will make all the right choices. Have fun tonight and Happy Birthday to Mr. Pooch!!!

Hi Laughter, I hope all is well with you.  How is work going?  I can't believe your back.  Talk about a strong woman!  Yes, I know, I can't believe all my friends and family sound like Rachael Ray TV shows! I know their not being insensitive, but jeesh!  Ha.  Hope you're doing fine. P
