Went to Pre-Op and bummed

Hi Anne, I am happy to be changing Drs. I see Dr. Minassian on the 24th but I will see Dr.Farhan on the 7th for my wound. Dr. Menassian told me that I have an infection and at the time I couldn't think where it could be,but since the days after pre-op my legs have turned bright red so I beleive that's where it is. I am taking antibiotics for this. I also called my current PCP to see if he would prescribe a water pill as suggested by Dr.Minassian. As for the high blood sugar, the infection should be the culprit. I got a little down Wednesday, but I figure it is just another little hoop I have to jump in the process. I am so glad to hear that the people at your work are so supportive, you will need that. Lynn :)

Keep me posted on how your appointments go.  Was your pcp willing to work with you?  I hope so.  Some doctors just want to be a one person show and not share their patients with other doctors, even if it to the patients benefit.  Keep up the good work.  I will be saving the clothes for you- don't worry!  Keep me posted.
