My Secret Pal Forgot About Me
Thats one of the reasons I'll never involve myself with Secret Pals again.I played one time and will never do it again..I spent time looking for special things to send my pal and made sure they got there on time.She always posted when the package got there so I would know it arrived.In return, in the six months we palyed I recieved one package.II recieved a set of chimes from the Dollar Store.S--- on me once it's your fault,S--- on me twice it's my fault,my mother didn't raise a fool!
Part of the rules of being a secret pal is to abide by the guidelines of sending a gift by the end of the month.
This isn't just about support, this is about giving and receiving from someone you don't know as a way of fun. FUN.
It is standard to note that you are not receiving your secret pal gift on the board, otherwise you are dropped from the game.
From one who has been involved in many secret pal games, it's simply how it goes.
Ok, seriously, I must have read wrong.....are you implying that because I questioned your post (which was totally irrelivent to the situation) that I don't give support? Unbelieveable.
Obviously you don't NEED a secret pal. But we were posting about a game and how some people don't follow the rules and how that made us feel. Suggesting that we don't have a valid point because you're feeling happy and supported is really not the way a message board works.
Curiousity wasn't the reason for the post; I'm not really sure what was.
In the future, snarky comments about my lack of support would be better received if they were more direct.
