Dear Walkers in the “2007 Walk From Obesity 5 year Anniversary”,
We at St. John Health System would like to extend this personal invitation to the Annual St. John Weight Loss Center “Celebrating The New You Picnic and Health Screening” at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights.
This event will encompass the Walk From Obesity event. We will have free health screening that will provide an assessment of weight related risks. There will be weight loss education options through St. John Health System that include bariatric surgery as well as non-surgical options for adults and adolescents as well. If you or someone you know has been unsuccessful at other weight loss methods, we may have a solution for you. This free health screening begins at 9am during registration and runs until 11am.
As part of our walk we will have various vendor booths available providing healthy lifestyle options for all of our walkers throughout the event.
Immediately following the wal****il 2pm, we will have the “Annual Celebrating The New You Picnic”. We encourage everyone who has had struggles with weight to proudly display their photo of their weight loss journey, whether it is a picture on a badge or a pin or a photo in hand or even your own before picture on your shirt! We want you to feel a part of this day and truly “Celebrate the New You”!
This will be a catered event and everyone is welcome to attend. We do request that you R.S.V.P. for the Picnic so we can be sure to have enough food available for our guests. You may do this with the following options: Call the St. John Health Connect line at 1-888-440-REAL (7325), mail this invitation back attention to me, or email me directly at [email protected],. With all the options I have suggested please include the name and phone number and how many will be attending the picnic.
Sincerely,
Tawnya Detherage
