I got a date!

I know I haven't posted much in here, but I almost gave up hope.   Finally, the last six months have been a great turn around and I have been approved and my surgery date is set for August 13th, 07!!  Today is my preop appointment for all the preop testing.  I'm so excited!!! :jump: :jump: I do remember the day I got my date and things were going in the right direction it is such an amazing ride hold on. lol Its the best thing I ever did for myself for sure.

Hi Jen,    Welcome to the boards, and the loser's bench very soon. I know how easy it is to lose hope too. But as when you least expect it along comes the rainbow! Now you are headed to the pot of gold!! Aug 13th will be here very soon; are you doing any pre op diet? I had a two week liquid pre op; YUK! Wow, the support in here is phenomenal!! Thank you, for all your kind words.  I am a website developer (on the side) and I'm still getting used to THIS site...lol.  Some things are difficult to find and navigate around in at first...lol.  Thanks so much for all your encouragement!! My surgery went great! It's been a week and one day, I've lost 17 pounds!!!! It's getting very exciting!! I painted my toe nails!! WOO HOO!!! I know the toe nail comment might seem a little weird but I've been very depressed and haven't done much for myself in a long while... I may go get my nails done today and dye the grays!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!! BIG HUGE HUGS TO EVERYONE, Jen
