Onederland even with Vacation
Hey Everyone,
Last week went on vacation; did not go near a scales or computer. When I got home I looked at my scales with terror; but I got on anyway. Guess what: 199.5, it's here! (ONELANDER).. Haven't seen this weight in years.. I did not do any regular exercise on vacation either; but I went tubbing, played with the grandkids, ect. I was so suprised! I tried to eat carefully; but then again on vacation that is not always the case! Thanks for all your support, comments, and encouragements. Maybe vacation was just what I needed to break that plateau. I have lost a total of 90 lbs now since Dec 06, surgery Feb 07.. I have hit so many plateau's that I feel like I am on the bumpiest rural road there is.. So to all the other's out there like me; hang in there!! So loser's are still the best tortose's to maintain after the hare's have won the race..ROTFLO!
And as for my vitamin intake; I think I am managing it quite well now! I am feeling more energy; and the thought that they would make me gain weight was unfounded.. I can tell a big difference in my wellbeing with more balance in my vitamins, and minerals. I hope the next blood test will confirm that. I really did not have any idea how critical it is to keep those vitamin levels up! I did some scary research on lack of them.. WLS pt. can end up with perment damage and even disability! So please head the warnnings on vitamin levels from your NUT. :-) Wishing you all good health, and good luck! Hugs, Judy R
