OT: Sharing today's joy
When I was morbidly obese, I couldn't do much at all. Since WLS, I've taken on horse back riding lessons (english) and riding quite frequently. (sometimes 3 times a week, it depends!
Over the past few months I've been riding much more and see a huge change in my life, my dreams, and my overall life improvement.
I just wanted to share in that joy a photo taken today.
Meet Dutchess, a 9 year old AQHA Appendix Horse who is presently on trial ownership and has really captured my heart:
Thanks for letting me share the joy in my world!!

PS:::: What's the JOY in your world lately?

Congrats on your wonderful time you are having Stacey!!! I am so happy for you....
My latest joy was that I went golfing with my parents and my son this past Monday... I have not been in 6 years and then I could never have done a full 18 holes... I still had energy when I got done too. I keep making little digs on how great I looked that it didn't matter how bad I was golfing... LOL... I actually did pretty good considering how long it has been since I golfed, but it was no where near as good as my parents who golf all the time...
I will have pictures up soon on my profile of me in action too... I will let you know when I get them up...
Take care and congrats again on your amazing accomplishments!!!!

I am so glad that you can enjoy such a great activity. I know how much you love the horseys! Hopefully she will work out and you can ride her for a long time.
My joy this past week I should say has been working in my garden. Not being out of breathe. Bending and twisting, and the ability to lift things that I would have had Jeff do in the past. The flowers make so me happy! I love seeing that my work and nurturing pays off. This year alone I have added two new flower beds, added rock borders to 3 beds, remulched and planted a ton of plants.

Dear Debbie .....
I thank you for that sweet comment... I feel so tickled to have this opportunity to ride and learn and grow in the equine world, this has now become my passion.
I hope sometime she's closer to Mt Pleasant and I can ride her everyday.
Hope you are doing well yourself....I look forward to seeing you again soon!
Love ya!

Stacey
